For the most anxious patients, we offer various sedation options tailored to your needs.
Premedication
If you are anxious, we can prescribe medication to aid your comfort.
First, you take a pill one hour before the procedure, or even the evening before, so you won’t worry too much. The effect wears off after a few hours. However, with this kind of sedation, it is mandatory to have someone accompany you back home — whether it’s a family member, a friend, or a taxi.
Inhalation Sedation

Deep Sedation
If you are very anxious, we can, for your comfort, propose to perform your surgeries under deep sedation. Indeed, the surgery is conducted in the same way at the practice. However, an anesthesiologist assists with the intervention to sedate you.
A low dose of sedative is introduced into your veins by infusion. You will then feel a deep calm and relaxation, similar to sleep. You remain cooperative, which allows the procedure to be carried out properly.
At the end of the treatment, the effect disappears very quickly. However—you will not retain any unpleasant memory of the intervention. Nevertheless, for this type of sedation, you must be accompanied for your return trip home, whether by a family member, a friend, or a taxi.
